Charles Irungu vs Nuru Verjee

Boxing Daily Report from the Ndovi Promotions promoted show at Nairobi Kaikai, Nairobi,  taking place on 01/11/2034:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Kenya-Nairobi Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Charles Irungu (21(2) - 12(4) - 2) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Nuru Verjee(19 - 14(1) - 1) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Irungu weighed in at 134 pounds and 10 ounces, while Verjee weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Salim Kosgei, and the three ringside judges are Billy Tumbo, Stuart Lone and Rich Ashira.
