Connor Methven vs John Laursen

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Fifth Third Arena, Cincinnati,  taking place on 16/12/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-Ohio Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Connor Methven (17(1) - 0) who hails from Columbus, USA and John Laursen(16(4) - 1) from Columbus, USA.  Methven weighed in at 147 pounds, while Laursen weighed in at 146 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Mark Penning, and the three ringside judges are Clinton Hintz, Paul Strassman and Rob Begg.
