Carlos Molinar vs Hernan Tavera

Boxing Daily Report from the Ntshangase Promotions promoted show at Santiago Morillo Gym, Valencia,  taking place on 07/11/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Venezuela-Carabobo Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Carlos Molinar (8 - 4(1)) who hails from Valencia, Venezuela and Hernan Tavera(22(12) - 3(1)) from Valencia, Venezuela.  Molinar weighed in at 118 pounds, while Tavera weighed in at 118 pounds and 8 ounces.    As Tavera came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Felippe Ledo, and the three ringside judges are Sancho Fraire, Jose Jordan and Marco Torrico.  

Round 1: 

Tavera is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Molinar switches the action to the outside and lands a cross.  Molinar attempts to land a jab, but Tavera dodges the shot and counters with a cross.

Tavera lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body, DROPPING MOLINAR TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.
