Jerrold Chico vs Saturnin Arcos

Boxing Daily Report from the Los Moreco Promotions promoted show at Estadio Independecia, Managua,  taking place on 02/12/2034:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nicaragua Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ESPN Latin America, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jerrold Chico (26(12) - 3) who hails from Masaya, Nicaragua and Saturnin Arcos(8 - 9(1) - 5) from Managua, Nicaragua.  Both Chico and Arcos weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hilario Lopez, and the three ringside judges are Agapetus Olea, Neron Godines and Vicente Salome.  

Round 1: 

Arcos pivots to the side of his opponent.  Chico lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Chico sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Chico closes the distance and digs in a sharp left hook to Arcos's body.  Chico clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Chico pushes his forearm into Arcos's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Chico.  
Chico lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Chico holds on to his opponent.  Chico is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Chico hits home with a right hook.  Chico ties up his opponent.  Chico leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Chico lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Chico throws a right hook, but the shot is blocked.  Chico clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Chico pushes his forearm into Arcos's face.  The ref breaks Chico's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Chico lands a right hook to the body, a right uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Chico stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Chico lands a right uppercut, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body, KNOCKING ARCOS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  It looks like Arcos has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Chico drives a weighty right hook into Arcos's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE ARCOS WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Chico ties up his opponent.  Chico leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  Arcos almost instantly recovers. 
Chico throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Chico ties up his opponent.  Chico pushes his forearm into Arcos's face.  The referee warns Chico and breaks the clinch.  
Chico lands a firm left hook.  
Chico digs in a right uppercut to Arcos's ribcage.  
Chico digs in a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Chico feints a jab and triggers a left hook counter from Arcos.  Chico springs the trap, countering with  a right hook.  
Chico drives a firm left hook into his opponents body.  
Chico drives a solid left hook into Arcos's liver.  
Chico lands a spiteful jab.  
Chico closes the distance and hits home with a left hook.  
Chico hits home with a right hook.  Chico ties up his opponent.  Chico is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Chico hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. 
Chico is on target with a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Chico lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Chico lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND DROPS ARCOS TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 5.  Arcos quickly recovers. 
Chico sidesteps to the left of his opponent and digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Chico is on target with a stinging cross.  
Arcos is looking to keep his distance.  Chico lands an overhand right followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Chico gets on the inside and lands a left hook, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Arcos's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Arcos's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Arcos's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Chico walks Arcos down, trapping him on the ropes.  Chico pivots to the left of his opponent and digs in a right hook to Arcos's ribcage.  
Chico advances into close range and drives a right hook into his opponents body.  Chico clinches his opponent.  Chico is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Chico is on target with a firm left uppercut to his opponents body.  Chico holds on to his opponent.  Chico leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The referee breaks up the clinch and lectures Chico to stop holding.  
Chico lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Chico quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a cross, left uppercut and a jab to his opponents head.  
Chico is looking to close the distance and manouvers Arcos into a corner.  Chico lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.

Chico lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Chico drives a left hook into Arcos's body.
