Charles Leiper vs Xavion Baca

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Rogers Center, Toronto,  taking place on 10/01/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Slim Charles Leiper (29(24) - 3(2)) who hails from Saskatoon, Canada and Xavion Baca(26(5) - 13(5) - 1) from Managua, Nicaragua.  Both Leiper and Baca weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Scott Hughes, and the three ringside judges are Dave Suit, David Mason and Ian Biggs.  

Round 1: 

Leiper snaps his opponents head back with a solid jab.

Baca walks Leiper down, trapping him in a corner.  Leiper lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.

Baca closes the distance.  Leiper pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a right uppercut into Baca's body.
