Xeres Prieto vs Emanuel Puerto

Boxing Daily Report from the Pacific and Andean Promotions promoted show at Coliseo de Arequipa, Arequipa,  taking place on 01/01/2035:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Peru Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fox Sports Latin America, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Xeres Prieto (26(12) - 2(1)) who hails from Arequipa, Peru and Emanuel Puerto(16(5) - 0) from Chiclayo, Peru.  Both Prieto and Puerto weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jose Caldera, and the three ringside judges are Federico Orona, Seferino Camerino and Malvolio Tinoco.  

Round 1: 

Prieto gets on the inside and hits home with a left uppercut.

Puerto quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a cross.  
Prieto hits home with a sharp left uppercut.  
Prieto advances into close range and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.

Prieto lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Puerto quickly recovers.
