Juan Ocana vs Ryo Alpizar

Boxing Daily Report from the JSW promoted show at Velodromo Luis Carlos Galan, Bogota,  taking place on 20/11/2034:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Juan Ocana (11(6) - 0) who hails from Panama City, Panama and Ryo Alpizar(16(1) - 0) from Cali, Colombia.  Both Ocana and Alpizar weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jose Alba, and the three ringside judges are Diego Barabas, Baltasar Cuadrado and Jesus Montilla.  

Round 1: 

Ocana pivots to the left of his opponent.  Ocana is on target with a stinging right hook to his opponents ribcage.  Ocana holds on to his opponent.  Ocana pushes his forearm into Alpizar's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Ocana about fouling.  
Ocana connects with a stinging right uppercut.  
Alpizar drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Ocana walks Alpizar into the corner.  Ocana is on target with a left uppercut.  
Ocana lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Ocana clinches his opponent.  Alpizar leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Ocana's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Ocana gets on the inside and hits home with a solid left hook.

Alpizar is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with a jab.  
Ocana gets on the inside and drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.  Ocana ties up his opponent.  Ocana leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Ocana sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Ocana advances into close range.  Alpizar throws a left hook, but Ocana clinches his opponent.  Ocana leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Ocana steps inside and lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Ocana attempts to land a cross, but Alpizar slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Alpizar hits home with a right hook.  
Ocana drives a sharp right hook into his opponents body.  
Ocana connects with a right hook.  Ocana tries to land a right hook, but Alpizar sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Ocana drives a stinging right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Ocana lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Alpizar switches the action to the outside.  Ocana lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Ocana advances into close range.  Alpizar connects with a right hook.

Ocana manouvers Alpizar onto the ropes.  Ocana lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a right uppercut to the head.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Alpizar dabs at his face checking for damage.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Alpizar's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Alpizar's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Alpizar's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

The ref waves off the fight.  He does not believe Alpizar can continue!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Ocana!
