Paul Fedder vs John Howells

Boxing Daily Report from the Nkansah Promotions promoted show at Kansas City Thorman, Kansas City,  taking place on 16/11/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-Missouri Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Paul Fedder (14 - 13(7) - 1) who hails from Kansas City, USA and John Howells(10(4) - 0 - 2) from Kansas City, USA.  Both Fedder and Howells weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Callum Johansen, and the three ringside judges are Aaron Ottosen, Phil Ekberg and Antwan Dougherty.  

Round 1: 

Howells closes the distance and lands a right hook, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Howells steps inside.  Howells pivots from in front of his opponent and digs in a stinging left hook to his opponents body.  
Howells lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Fedder throws a left hook, but Howells clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Howells pushes his forearm into Fedder's face.  The ref breaks Howells's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Fedder tries to land a left uppercut, but Howells parries the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut to his opponents body.  FEDDER WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Fedder recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Howells is on target with a right uppercut to Fedder's ribcage.  
Howells lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Howells clinches his opponent.  Howells throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. 
Howells lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Howells is looking to close the distance and is on target with a left hook to Fedder's liver.  
Howells closes the distance.  Howells drives a right hook into his opponents ribcage.  
Howells gets on the inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Howells digs in a left hook to Fedder's ribs.  Howells ties up his opponent.  Howells is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Howells sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Howells drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Fedder tries to land a jab, but Howells slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Howells feints a cross, and then lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Fedder recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Howells closes the distance.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Howells dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Howells lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Howells manages to force Fedder onto the ropes.  Howells lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Howells is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Howells lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left uppercut to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by two left hook's to the head.  Fedder now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Fedder's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Fedder's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Fedder's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Fedder tries to keep the action at long range and connects with an overhand right.  
Howells gets on the inside and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Fedder throws a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Howells advances into close range and lands a right hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Howells steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Howells lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Howells digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Howells is on target with a stinging right hook to his opponents body.  
Howells digs in a powerful left hook to his opponents ribs.  FEDDER IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 6.  
Fedder hits home with a left uppercut.  
Fedder pivots to the right of his opponent.  Howells hits home with a solid jab.  
Howells closes the distance and slams a spiteful right uppercut into Fedder's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE FEDDER WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Fedder quickly recovers. 
Howells forces Fedder to back into the corner.  Howells connects with a stinging cross.  
Howells is looking to close the distance and connects with a left hook.  
Howells lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  He then lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Howells closes the distance and drives a telling left uppercut into Fedder's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE FEDDER WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Fedder is looking to keep his distance.  Some sustained pressure from Howells could be enough to finish Fedder!  Howells lands a cross, left hook and a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He then lands a left uppercut, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body.  It looks like Fedder has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Howells drives a firm right hook into Fedder's ribcage.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Fedder's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.

Howells walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Howells is on target with a right hook to Fedder's ribcage.  
Howells digs in a left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Howells lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Howells drives a left hook into Fedder's body.  
Howells drives a forceful left hook into his opponents ribs.  FEDDER WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Howells dabs at his face checking for damage.  Fedder quickly recovers. 
Fedder tries to step out of his opponents range and throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a potent left uppercut to Fedder's body.  FEDDER WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
The right shot from Howells could be enough to force the stoppage!  Howells lands a cross, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head, AND FEDDER IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He remains on the canvas as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Howells!
