John Donkin vs Connor Wham

Boxing Daily Report from the Kanda Promotions promoted show at Vancouver Beatty, Vancouver,  taking place on 23/11/2034:

Clearly Kanda Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Donkin (20(15) - 0) who hails from Edmonton, Canada and Connor Wham(10 - 17(2) - 2) from Mississauga, Canada.  Donkin weighed in at 146 pounds and 11 ounces, while Wham weighed in at 146 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Alec Aitken, and the three ringside judges are Noel Louis-Dreyfus, Noel Louis-Dreyfus and Arthur Brown.  

Round 1: 

Donkin gets on the inside.  Wham throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Donkin holds on to his opponent.  Donkin tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Wham behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Donkin about fouling.  
Donkin closes the distance and lands a sharp right hook.  Donkin ties up his opponent.  Donkin pushes his forearm into Wham's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Donkin to stop fouling.  
Donkin pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Donkin walks Wham down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Donkin pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Donkin is on target with a left hook.  
Donkin pivots to the side of his opponent.  Donkin lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a left hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a right hook to the head.  Donkin clinches his opponent.  Donkin uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Wham's kidney. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Donkin about fouling.

Donkin closes the distance.  Donkin sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.

Donkin pivots to the right of his opponent.  Donkin lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Donkin holds on to his opponent.  Donkin tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Wham's kidney. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Wham gets on the inside.  Donkin pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Wham tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Wham cuts off the ring, trapping Donkin in the corner.  Wham tries to land a right uppercut, but Donkin parries the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Donkin gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Donkin pivots to the left of his opponent and connects with a firm left hook.  
Donkin forces Wham to back into the corner.  Donkin pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Wham's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Wham's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Donkin walks his opponent into the red corner.  Donkin lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.

Frustration is starting to boil over for Wham now.   He swings an uppercut into his opponents groin! The ref signals for the action to continue.  He either hasnt noticed the blatant foul or doesnt care!

Donkin lands a right uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Donkin lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Wham steps inside.  Donkin connects with a left uppercut.  
Donkin finds the target with a jab.  
Donkin digs in a left hook to Wham's body.  
Donkin digs in a stinging right hook to his opponents body.  Wham wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Donkin dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Wham sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Donkin lands a right uppercut to the head, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.

Donkin gets on the inside and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Donkin clinches his opponent.  Donkin hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Donkin to stop holding.  
Donkin lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head, AND KNOCKS WHAM DOWN!  He fails to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Donkin!
