Diego Nepomuceno vs Diego Lumaban

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Smart Arenata Coliseum, Quezon City,  taking place on 02/12/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Philippines Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ABS Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Diego Nepomuceno (22(18) - 0) who hails from Pasig, Philippines and Diego Lumaban(17(1) - 2(2)) from San Pablo, Philippines.  Both Nepomuceno and Lumaban weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vicente Vielma, and the three ringside judges are Fanuco Bunggay, Angel Landeros and Rob Mahinay.  

Round 1:

Lumaban steps inside and manouvers Nepomuceno onto the ropes.  Lumaban pivots to the right of his opponent andThe two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Nepomuceno dabs at his face checking for damage.
