Gig Escovedo vs Onofre Mena

Boxing Daily Report from the Mufwembe Promotions promoted show at Los Alcarrizos Jaimes, Los Alcarrizos,  taking place on 21/11/2034:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Dominican Republic-Santo Domingo Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gig Escovedo (13 - 6) who hails from Santo Domingo Oeste, Dominican Republic and Onofre Mena(9 - 5(2) - 1) from Santo Domingo Oeste, Dominican Republic.  Both Escovedo and Mena weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Xaverius Bras, and the three ringside judges are Cipriano Lujan, Diego Rodrigo and Santiago Campo.

As Mena tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Escovedo dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Escovedo.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
