Phil Blier vs Vince Rafferty

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Rogers Center, Toronto,  taking place on 10/01/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Commonwealth Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Sweet Phil Blier (42(34) - 2 - 1) who hails from Brampton, Canada and Vince Rafferty(36(27) - 7(5) - 1) from Sydney, Australia.  Both Blier and Rafferty weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is David Mason, and the three ringside judges are Dave Suit, Scott Hughes and Ian Biggs.

Rafferty feints a cross, but Blier ignores the feint and is on target with a telling cross.  RAFFERTY WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Rafferty almost instantly gets his legs back.

Rafferty is looking to close the distance.  Blier digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Blier tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross, jab and a cross to his opponents head.  
Blier lands a HUGE cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE RAFFERTY WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Blier knows Rafferty is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Blier lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head, KNOCKING RAFFERTY DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  Rafferty now seems to have got his legs back.
