Afon Ivanenko vs Dmitriy Nabokov

Boxing Daily Report from the Sporticus promoted show at Yubileyny Sports Palace, Saint Petersburg,  taking place on 30/12/2034:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Russia Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Afon Ivanenko (19 - 0 - 1) who hails from Irkutsk, Russia and Dmitriy Nabokov(24 - 15(6) - 7) from Saint Petersburg, Russia.  Both Ivanenko and Nabokov weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Melor Sadowski, and the three ringside judges are Aleksandr Melantev, Anton Karmazin and Gennady Obmochaev.  

Round 1: 

Nabokov is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with a cross.  
Ivanenko closes the distance.  Ivanenko pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  
Ivanenko drops his hands, and waves his opponent in.  Nabokov hits home with a right uppercut.

Ivanenko steps inside.  Nabokov throws a left hook, but Ivanenko holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Ivanenko pushes his forearm into Nabokov's face.  The referee warns Ivanenko and breaks the clinch.  
Nabokov switches the action to the outside.  Ivanenko lands two jabs followed by an overhand left to his opponents head.

Nabokov attempts to land a right uppercut, but Ivanenko slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Nabokov switches the action to the outside.  Ivanenko stands off with low guard waiting for his opponent to launch an attack.  Nabokov throws an overhand right, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Ivanenko leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Nabokov accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Ivanenko.  
Ivanenko is looking to close the distance and is on target with a left hook.

Ivanenko wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Nabokov dabs at his face checking for damage.
