Ian Carneal vs Leo Morland

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Vector Arena, Auckland,  taking place on 02/12/2034:

Clearly Gold Coast Boxing have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Auckland Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ian Carneal (16 - 10(1) - 2) who hails from Auckland, New Zealand and Leo Morland(11(3) - 1) from Auckland, New Zealand.  Carneal weighed in at 153 pounds and 4 ounces, while Morland weighed in at 153 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Clinton Martie, and the three ringside judges are Antwan Vaughan, Matthew Chisholm and Mike Scroggins.  

Round 1: 

Morland connects with a cross.

Morland holds on to his opponent.  Morland is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Morland lands a right uppercut to the head, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  Morland holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Morland pushes his forearm into Carneal's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Morland to stop fouling.

Morland quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a firm left hook to Carneal's body.  
Morland pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.
