Elderson Ezeugo vs Hassan Tahan

Boxing Daily Report from the Kasanbata Promotions promoted show at Kasanbata Gym, Kaduna,  taking place on 28/11/2034:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Kaduna State Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Elderson Ezeugo (6 - 18(1) - 3) who hails from Kaduna, Nigeria and Hassan Tahan(17 - 13 - 4) from Zaria, Nigeria.  Ezeugo weighed in at 239 pounds and 7 ounces, while Tahan weighed in at 236 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Shayan Sasooli, and the three ringside judges are Saad Baksh, Elderson Tutuola and Elderson Obasanjo.  

Round 1: 

Tahan steps inside.  Tahan pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head.  
Tahan lands a jab, cross and an overhand left to his opponents head.

Tahan connects with a left uppercut.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Ezeugo dabs at his face checking for damage.
