Anton Banasik vs Dan Claudel

Boxing Daily Report from the ADR Boxing promoted show at Canberra Stadium, Canberra,  taking place on 30/12/2034:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the WRBC Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Anton Banasik (44(40) - 3(3)) who hails from Bratsk, Russia and Dan Claudel(36(26) - 2(1)) from Sheffield, UK.  Both Banasik and Claudel weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Irfan Dallal, and the three ringside judges are John Hakopyan, Bob Ivory and Mark Kilbride.  

Round 1: 

Claudel is on target with a firm right uppercut.  
Banasik throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging cross.  
Banasik gets on the inside.  Claudel pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a solid right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  
Claudel throws a left uppercut, but the shot is blocked.  Claudel holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Claudel pushes his forearm into Banasik's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Banasik manouvers Claudel onto the ropes.  Banasik is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Claudel pivots to the left of his opponent.  Claudel lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Claudel clinches his opponent.  Banasik pushes his forearm into Claudel's face.  The referee warns Banasik and breaks the clinch.  
Banasik is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Claudel holds on to his opponent.  Banasik is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Banasik.  
Claudel drives a hard jab into his opponents face.  
Banasik is on target with a cross.  
Banasik steps inside.  Claudel attempts to land a right hook, but Banasik blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Claudel pivots to the right of his opponent and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.

Banasik lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Claudel feints a left, and then lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Claudel lands a jab followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.

Banasik tries to land a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.

Claudel quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Banasik tries to land a left uppercut, but Claudel sidesteps and counters with a mean left hook.  BANASIK IS HURT!  Banasik almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Claudel strikes his opponents body with a solid jab.  
Claudel lands with a hard jab.  
Claudel lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Banasik gets on the inside and is on target with a left hook to Claudel's body.

Banasik closes the distance and tries to land a right hook, but Claudel blocks the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut.  
Banasik lands a right hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Banasik hits home with a solid jab.  
Banasik advances into close range.  Claudel DETONATES a WICKED right hook on his opponents face.  IT LOOKS LIKE BANASIK WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Claudel thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Banasik away.  Claudel lands two consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS BANASIK TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 5.  Banasik now seems to have his senses back.  
Claudel is on target with a jab.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Banasik's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

He makes it to one knee, but is unable to rise any further as the ref counts 10!  The winner by KO is Claudel!
