John Lyster vs Anton Gusarov

Boxing Daily Report from the Hands Promotions promoted show at Sphere, Las Vegas,  taking place on 22/12/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the WRBA Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are John Lyster (21(14) - 5(2)) who hails from Surprise, USA and Anton Gusarov(44(31) - 8(6)) from Khabarovsk, Russia.  Both Lyster and Gusarov weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mike Faulkner, and the three ringside judges are Chris Cadwallader, Edward Almodovar and Ellis Slight.  

Round 1: 

Gusarov closes the distance.  Lyster is on target with a right hook to Gusarov's body.

That has caused a slight cut  the right eye.  .  
Gusarov walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Gusarov lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Gusarov attempts to land a right hook, but Lyster parries the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Lyster lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Gusarov advances into close range and is on target with a firm right hook to his opponents body.

Gusarov manouvers Lyster onto the ropes.  Gusarov quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Lyster dabs at his face checking for damage.  Lyster has taken some damage there.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Gusarov gets on the inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Gusarov is looking to close the distance and tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a MASSIVE right uppercut.  IT LOOKS LIKE GUSAROV WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!
