Boxing Daily Report from the Kwofie Promotions promoted show at Tijuana Rascon, Tijuana,  taking place on 03/12/2034:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Mexico-Baja California Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TVC Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Carlos Covarrubias (23(4) - 0) who hails from Tijuana, Mexico and Cruz Cerrillo(18 - 12 - 6) from Tijuana, Mexico.  Covarrubias weighed in at 241 pounds And 11 ounces, while Cerrillo weighed in at 254 pounds And 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Jeraldo Toribio, and the three ringside judges are Federico Sanchez, Gervasio Sastre and Miguel Campoverde.
