Santiago Balasco vs Beltran Torrente

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Cuba-Holguin promoted show at Holguin Silvestre, Holguin,  taking place on 02/12/2034:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Cuba-Holguin Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Santiago Balasco (7 - 6(2) - 3) who hails from Holguin, Cuba and Beltran Torrente(12 - 7 - 2) from Holguin, Cuba.  Both Balasco and Torrente weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Diego Noyola, and the three ringside judges are Santiago Arbelaez, Jax Pastrano and Diego Garcia.

Balasco advances into close range and drives a left uppercut into Torrente's liver.

Torrente lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Torrente is looking to close the distance and manouvers his opponent into a neutral corner.  Balasco connects with a left uppercut.  As Torrente tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Balasco dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Balasco is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with an overhand right.  
Balasco quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Torrente is on target with a cross.  
Balasco steps inside and hits home with a left hook.  Balasco tries to land a left hook, but Torrente sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Torrente walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Balasco connects with a right uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Balasco's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Torrente's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.
