Chris Beddow vs Brin Yell

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Ainslie Park, Edinburgh,  taking place on 18/12/2034:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Celtic Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Chris Beddow (32(23) - 1) who hails from Waterford, Ireland and Brin Yell(21 - 3 - 2) from Cork, Ireland.  Beddow weighed in at 235 pounds And 15 ounces, while Yell weighed in at 233 pounds And 2 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Anton Adam, and the three ringside judges are Dennis McClung, David Hall and Patrick McBeth.  

Round 1: 

Beddow steps inside and digs in a left hook to Yell's ribs.  
Beddow lands with a solid jab.  
Beddow steps inside and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Beddow ties up his opponent.  Beddow pushes his forearm into Yell's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Beddow gets on the inside and is on target with a sharp right hook.  
Beddow lands a left hook.  
Beddow gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Yell tries to keep the action at long range and hits the target with a spiteful jab.

Beddow steps inside.  Yell sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Beddow lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Yell's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Yell's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Beddow steps inside and lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  Beddow ties up his opponent.  Beddow is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Beddow about fouling.  
Yell pivots to the right of his opponent.  Yell is on target with a left hook.  Beddow ties up his opponent.  Yell is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Beddow lands a sharp left hook.  
Beddow is looking to close the distance.  Yell throws a left uppercut, but Beddow clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Yell pushes his forearm into Beddow's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Beddow lands a jab followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.  
Beddow is looking to close the distance.  Yell throws a left hook, but Beddow ties up his opponent.  Beddow is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Beddow advances into close range and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Yell quickly recovers. 
Beddow quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a sharp cross.

Yell pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Beddow walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Beddow tries to land a right hook, but Yell sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Beddow lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Beddow holds on to his opponent.  Yell leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Beddow's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  Yell almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Beddow lands a jab.  Beddow tries to land a jab, but Yell blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Beddow pivots to the right of his opponent and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Beddow is looking to force the stoppage!  Beddow lands a left uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head, KNOCKING YELL DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 8.  Yell now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Beddow connects with a right hook.  
Beddow drives a right hook into Yell's body.  
Beddow lands a double left hook to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Yell recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Beddow manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Beddow is on target with a FEROCIOUS right hook.  YELL HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE TRIES TO RISE BUT HIS LEGS DONT RESPOND...THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Beddow!
