Dave Blackard vs Morgan Masker

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Canada-Manitoba promoted show at Lionel Beaubien Gym, Winnipeg,  taking place on 20/12/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada-Manitoba Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dave Blackard (6 - 5 - 5) who hails from Winnipeg, Canada and Morgan Masker(10 - 12(1)) from Winnipeg, Canada.  Both Blackard and Masker weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ian Fiddes, and the three ringside judges are Steven Yale, Blake Brydon and Wayne Pique.  

Round 1: 

Masker retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  Blackard accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Masker.  Blackard is on target with a cross.
