Ciaran McCaig vs Cody Bain

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Gold Gym, Brisbane,  taking place on 02/12/2034:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Ciaran McCaig (0 - 0) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Cody Bain(3 - 3(1)) from Sydney, Australia.  Both McCaig and Bain weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ian Norris, and the three ringside judges are James Westwood, Johnny Deasmhumhain and Dave Antoni.  

Round 1: 

McCaig gets on the inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Bain pivots to the left of his opponent.  McCaig lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Bain steps away from his opponent and throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm left hook.

McCaig manouvers his opponent into a neutral corner.  McCaig digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
McCaig closes the distance and connects with a right hook.  
McCaig manages to force Bain into a corner.  McCaig lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Bain throws a right hook, but McCaig holds on to his opponent.  McCaig is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures McCaig about fouling.  
McCaig is on target with a right hook to Bain's body.  
McCaig lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

Bain tries to keep the action at long range.  McCaig feints a cross, and then hits home with an overhand right.
