Hamish Rae vs Chris Ewen

Boxing Daily Report from the Super Box Management promoted show at Newforge Lane Stadium, Belfast,  taking place on 23/02/2035:

Clearly Super Box Management have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hamish Rae (9(5) - 0) who hails from Portsmouth, UK and Chris Ewen(4 - 20(1) - 5) from London, UK.  Rae weighed in at 147 pounds, while Ewen weighed in at 146 pounds And 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Rory Mulrennan, and the three ringside judges are Anthony McCabe, Paul Gallagher and Ian Casey.  

Round 1: 

Ewen closes the distance and throws a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid cross.  
Rae tries to keep the action at long range.  Rae feints a left hook, and then is on target with a jab.

Rae SLAMS a nasty cross into his opponents face.  EWEN IS HURT!  Ewen almost instantly gets his legs back.

Ewen walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Rae hits home with a left hook.  
Ewen gets on the inside.  Rae sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Rae lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Rae holds on to his opponent.  Rae pushes his forearm into Ewen's face.  The ref breaks Rae's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Ewen tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Rae switches the action to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Rae drops his hands, and waves his opponent in.  Ewen throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a HUGE right uppercut.  IT LOOKS LIKE EWEN WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Ewen quickly recovers. 
Ewen sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Ewen tries to land a left hook, but Rae parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Rae steps to the outside and lands a hard jab.  
Rae lands with a solid jab.  
Rae steps away from his opponent.  Rae sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a big cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE EWEN WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Ewen quickly recovers. 
Ewen gets on the inside and manouvers his opponent into the blue corner.  Rae lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Rae holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Rae pushes his forearm into Ewen's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Rae lands with a hard jab.  
Rae tries to step out of his opponents range and connects with a stinging overhand right.  
Ewen sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Rae lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Ewen gets on the inside.  Rae drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Rae lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Rae lands a jab.  
Ewen advances into close range and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Rae lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Rae steps away from his opponent and lands two jabs followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Rae is on target with a jab to Ewen's body.  
Ewen advances into close range.  Rae lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Rae is looking to keep his distance and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Ewen's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Ewen's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Rae feints a jab, tricking Ewen into countering with a right uppercut.  Rae springs the trap, countering with  a firm cross.  
Rae connects with a sharp cross.  
Ewen gets on the inside and manouvers Rae onto the ropes.  Rae crashes a spiteful right uppercut to Ewen's body.  DOWN GOES EWEN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Rae ties up his opponent.  Ewen is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Rae lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Rae lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Rae lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Rae feints a cross, and then lands two jabs to the body, and one to the head.  
Rae feints a left, and then lands two jabs followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Ewen quickly recovers. 
Rae is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head, AND SENDS EWEN TO THE CANVAS!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Rae!
