Oscar Afrani vs Azam Lodhi

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ghana-Northern Ghana promoted show at Dagbon Boxing Gym, Tamale,  taking place on 29/12/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Ghana-Northern Ghana Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on bTV Action, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Oscar Afrani (11 - 15(1) - 2) who hails from Tamale, Ghana and Azam Lodhi(12(9) - 2) from Tamale, Ghana.  Both Afrani and Lodhi weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Anyidoho, and the three ringside judges are Fraser Habe, Rich Burja and Tamarius Moyoyo.  

Round 1: 

Afrani hits home with a cross.  
Lodhi gets on the inside and digs in a solid right hook to Afrani's ribcage.  
Afrani throws a left hook, but Lodhi holds on to his opponent.  Lodhi is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Lodhi to stop fouling.

Lodhi closes the distance and lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  Lodhi ties up his opponent.  Lodhi tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Afrani behind the head. Lodhi leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Lodhi pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.

Lodhi is looking to force the stoppage!  Lodhi lands a left hook, cross and a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND AFRANI IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  Afrani now seems to have got his legs back.  
Lodhi lands two left hooks followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Lodhi manouvers Afrani into the corner.  Lodhi is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Lodhi lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS AFRANI DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 8.  It looks like Afrani has now recovered from that shot earlier.
