Taras Tkachuk vs Jonathan Greenan

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Olympic Stadium, Montreal,  taking place on 27/01/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Taras Tkachuk (17(16) - 0) who hails from Gomel, Belarus and Jonathan Greenan(13 - 10(3) - 1) from Surrey, Canada.  Tkachuk weighed in at 147 pounds, while Greenan weighed in at 146 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Bruce Hathorne, and the three ringside judges are Stephen Morton, Elliot Girardot and Launcelot Rozenthal.  

Round 1: 

Greenan closes the distance and is on target with a left hook.

Tkachuk clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Tkachuk pushes his forearm into Greenan's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Greenan closes the distance and throws a left hook, but Tkachuk ties up his opponent.  Greenan is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Tkachuk pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a cross to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Tkachuk tries to keep the action at long range.  Tkachuk sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands an overhand left.  
Greenan sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Tkachuk lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Tkachuk closes the distance.  Greenan throws a left hook, but Tkachuk clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Greenan pushes his forearm into Tkachuk's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Tkachuk is looking to keep his distance and hits home with a solid cross.  
Tkachuk gets on the inside and tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Tkachuk is looking to keep his distance and lands a stinging cross to Greenan's body.  
Tkachuk lands a solid jab.  Tkachuk throws an overhand left, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging right hook to his opponents body.  
Tkachuk quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a WICKED cross.  GREENAN IS HURT!  Greenan recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Tkachuk lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  He then lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Tkachuk switches the action to the outside.  Tkachuk stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Greenan hits home with a cross.

Tkachuk gets on the inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Greenan advances into close range.  Tkachuk hits home with a firm right hook.  
Tkachuk digs in a left hook to Greenan's ribs.  
Tkachuk sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a stinging overhand left.  
Greenan forces Tkachuk to back into the ropes.  Greenan pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Greenan's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Tkachuk is looking to keep his distance and is on target with a firm cross.  GREENAN IS HURT!  Greenan almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Tkachuk closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Greenan almost instantly recovers. 
Greenan steps inside.  Tkachuk tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Greenan steps inside and throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a hurtful left uppercut to Greenan's body.  GREENAN IS HURT!  Greenan recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Tkachuk tries to keep the action at long range and lands a firm cross.  
Greenan closes the distance and manouvers Tkachuk into a neutral corner.  Tkachuk lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Tkachuk hits home with a stinging cross.  
Greenan is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Tkachuk is looking to keep his distance.  Tkachuk feints a jab, tricking Greenan into countering with a left uppercut.  Tkachuk springs the trap and counters with  a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Tkachuk lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Greenan almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Greenan walks Tkachuk into the corner.  Tkachuk SLAMS a FEROCIOUS cross into his opponents face.  IT LOOKS LIKE GREENAN WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Greenan quickly recovers. 
Greenan steps inside.  Tkachuk is on target with a solid right hook.  Tkachuk clinches his opponent.  Greenan throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. 
Tkachuk is on target with a nasty cross.  GREENAN IS HURT!  
Tkachuk senses Greenan is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Tkachuk lands two left uppercuts followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND DROPS GREENAN TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 7.  It looks like Greenan has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Tkachuk's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Greenan's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Greenan's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Tkachuk is on target with a stinging right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Greenan advances into close range.  Greenan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Tkachuk lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Tkachuk holds on to his opponent.  Tkachuk is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Greenan pushes his forearm into Tkachuk's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Greenan about fouling.
