Boxing Daily Report from the Aussie Boxing Academy promoted show at Josh Maitakov Gym, Melbourne,  taking place on 05/12/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Ian Howie (2 - 0) who hails from Perth, Australia and Peter Vicker(5 - 7(1) - 1) from Adelaide, Australia.  Both Howie and Vicker weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nathan Savas, and the three ringside judges are Euan Kier, Ricky Gebbie and Clinton Waugh.  

Round 1: 

Howie lands two straights followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Howie lands a double jab to his opponents head.  Howie throws an overhand left, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Howie connects with a sharp left uppercut.  
Howie hits home with a hard jab.  
Vicker closes the distance.  Howie lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Vicker manouvers his opponent into a corner.  Howie finds the target with a stinging jab.

Howie lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Howie lands two jabs to the body, and one to the head.

Vicker advances into close range.  Howie is on target with a right hook.

Vicker closes the distance and walks his opponent down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Vicker sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Howie lands a solid jab.  
Howie tries to keep the action at long range and lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Howie switches the action to the outside and connects with a stinging overhand right.  
Howie tries to step out of his opponents range.  Howie feints a left, and then lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Vicker gets on the inside.  Howie connects with a left hook.

At the end of Round 3, lets listen in on the corners...Howie's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid. Howie's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Vicker's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!
