Thompson Mitee vs Yakubu Okoye

Boxing Daily Report from the Adusei Promotions promoted show at Maiduguri Akpososo, Maiduguri,  taking place on 31/12/2034:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Borno State Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Thompson Mitee (18 - 10(2) - 2) who hails from Maiduguri, Nigeria and Yakubu Okoye(8 - 26(1) - 2) from Maiduguri, Nigeria.  Both Mitee and Okoye weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Obaid Shariff, and the three ringside judges are Mohsin Kassem, Zain Faraj and Gethin Rotimi.  

Round 1: 

Okoye gets on the inside.  Mitee hits home with a right hook.

Okoye steps inside and throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
