Billy Mamot vs Xavier Macasa

Boxing Daily Report from the Dauda Promotions promoted show at Cabuyao Matute, Cabuyao,  taking place on 01/01/2035:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Philippines-Laguna Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Billy Mamot (3 - 3 - 2) who hails from San Pedro, Philippines and Xavier Macasa(10 - 19 - 1) from Calamba, Philippines.  Both Mamot and Macasa weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Lisandro Silago, and the three ringside judges are Miguel Nieto, Arnie Gumiran and Jeraldo Canas.  

Round 1: 

Macasa is looking to close the distance.  Mamot throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Macasa's complaints and signals for the action to continue.
