John Karpin vs Floyd Ward

Boxing Daily Report from the Aussie Boxing Academy promoted show at Peter McNevin Gym, Adelaide,  taking place on 13/12/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are John Karpin (2 - 0) who hails from Adelaide, Australia and Floyd Ward(5 - 5 - 3) from Sydney, Australia.  Karpin weighed in at 130 pounds, while Ward weighed in at 129 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Floyd MacFarlane, and the three ringside judges are Jake Reuben, Aaron McBeath and Daniel Guffy.  

Round 1:

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Ward's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Ward's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Ward's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Ward advances into close range.  Karpin throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Karpin holds on to his opponent.  Ward leans on his opponent using all his weight. As they grapple, Karpin pushes his forearm into Ward's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Karpin about fouling.  
Karpin feints a right hook, and then is on target with a left uppercut.  
Karpin feints a right hook, and then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Karpin drives a cross into Ward's body.  
Ward closes the distance.  Karpin digs in a left hook to Ward's body.
