Nicholas Starratt vs Kai Kirkbride

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Alaska promoted show at Anchorage Bise, Anchorage,  taking place on 07/01/2035:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Mountain West Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Nicholas Starratt (20(8) - 3(1)) who hails from Anchorage, USA and Kai Kirkbride(3 - 8) from Denver, USA.  Starratt weighed in at 105 pounds, while Kirkbride weighed in at 104 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Bryan Hindman, and the three ringside judges are David Byers, Leon Chisolm and Felix Campbell.  

Round 1: 

Kirkbride closes the distance.  Starratt lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Starratt clinches his opponent.  Starratt pushes his forearm into Kirkbride's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Starratt about fouling.

Starratt tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.

Starratt is on target with a telling right uppercut to his opponents body.  IT LOOKS LIKE KIRKBRIDE WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Kirkbride almost instantly recovers.
