Boxing Daily Report from the AI Guatemala-Guatemala promoted show at Gimnasio Alfonso Gordillo, Guatemala City,  taking place on 12/01/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on El Súper Canal, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Diego Navarrete (10(5) - 0) who hails from Mixco, Guatemala and Alejandro Candela(1 - 2) from Guatemala City, Guatemala.  Both Navarrete and Candela weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Carlos Cruce, and the three ringside judges are Juan Luque, Joaquin Lora and Joaquin Zea.

Navarrete steps to the outside.  Navarrete quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a solid overhand right.

Navarrete wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Candela has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.  
Candela throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging right uppercut.
