Michael Hughes vs Phil Brown

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at Arlington ISD, Arlington,  taking place on 01/02/2035:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on MSG Network, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Michael Hughes (16(5) - 0) who hails from Detroit, USA and Phil Brown(17 - 5 - 4) from Los Angeles, USA.  Both Hughes and Brown weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Noah Fergusson, and the three ringside judges are Paul Mings, Seth Geddes and Mark Maddock.  

Round 1: 

Hughes lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Hughes lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.

Hughes is on target with a left hook.  Hughes clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Hughes pushes his forearm into Brown's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Hughes.  Hughes attempts to land a right uppercut, but Brown blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Round 2: 

Hughes advances into close range.  Brown pivots to the left of his opponent andAs Hughes tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Brown has taken some damage there.  That has caused slight damage to the nose.  
Hughes lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Hughes cuts off the ring, trapping Brown in the corner.  Hughes is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Hughes gets on the inside and lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  He then lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Hughes lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Hughes lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Hughes lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Brown is looking to keep his distance.  Hughes circles his opponent with a low guard, waiting for his opponent to attack.  Brown throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a stinging right uppercut.

Hughes manages to force Brown onto the ropes.  Hughes lands a left hook, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Hughes lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Hughes dabs at his face checking for damage.

Hughes forces Brown to retreat into a corner.  Hughes is on target with a right uppercut to Brown's body.  
Hughes lands a solid left uppercut.  
Hughes lands with a sharp jab.  
Brown manouvers Hughes into the corner.  Hughes drives a firm left hook into Brown's ribs.  
Brown pivots to the side of his opponent.  Hughes hits home with a cross.

Hughes lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head.
