Jack Nixon vs Charles Erwood

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Canada-Alberta promoted show at Edmonton Leith, Edmonton,  taking place on 11/01/2035:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada-Alberta Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jack Nixon (9(5) - 3) who hails from Calgary, Canada and Charles Erwood(6 - 2 - 4) from Calgary, Canada.  Both Nixon and Erwood weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Robert Methvin, and the three ringside judges are Mark Storer, Charlie Ainsley and Dale Biggs.  

Round 1: 

Erwood advances into close range.  Nixon lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Nixon clinches his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
