Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Canterbury promoted show at Christchurch Maurice, Christchurch,  taking place on 11/01/2035:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Canterbury Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rob Belliston (3 - 4 - 3) who hails from Christchurch, New Zealand and Jonathan Tyre(5 - 10 - 4) from Christchurch, New Zealand.  Belliston weighed in at 112 pounds, while Tyre weighed in at 111 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Tobias Vert, and the three ringside judges are Paul Moad, Robert Lawman and Dave Sprouse.

Belliston tries to step out of his opponents range.  Tyre connects with a cross.

Tyre gets on the inside.  Tyre throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Belliston's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Belliston dabs at his face checking for damage.  Belliston has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Belliston tries to keep the action at long range and lands a jab.  
Tyre is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Tyre connects with a right hook.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Belliston's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Belliston's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Belliston's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Tyre closes the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping Belliston on the ropes.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Tyre dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Tyre.  That has caused a minor cut above the right eye.  .
