Gareth Drennan vs Michael Abernethy

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Qualcomm Stadium, San Diego,  taking place on 07/03/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the North American Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Gareth the Sledge-hammer Drennan (50(28) - 3(2) - 1) who hails from Anaheim, USA and Michael Abernethy(37(29) - 8(7) - 1) from Jackson, USA.  Both Drennan and Abernethy weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Pizarro, and the three ringside judges are John Stein, Adam Moreno and Greg Blanco.
