Arali Rogo vs Darryl Polston

Boxing Daily Report from the RCB promoted show at Manchester Arena, Manchester,  taking place on 31/01/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Mr Olympics Arali Rogo (10(3) - 0) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Darryl Polston(14(2) - 5 - 1) from Melbourne, Australia.  Rogo weighed in at 147 pounds, while Polston weighed in at 146 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Robert Goff, and the three ringside judges are John Fate, Matthew McReynolds and Blake Cossutta.  

Round 1: 

Polston tries to land a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Rogo waits at the mid-range with a lowered guard, waiting for his opponent to throw a punch.  Polston drives a right hook into Rogo's body.  
Rogo lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Rogo lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Rogo walks Polston down, trapping him on the ropes.  Rogo lands a right hook, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents head.  
Rogo pivots to the right of his opponent and drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Rogo throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Rogo is on target with a solid left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Rogo lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Rogo lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Rogo pivots from in front of his opponent.  Polston throws a left hook, but Rogo clinches his opponent.  Rogo is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Rogo's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Rogo pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
Rogo lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Rogo pivots to the right of his opponent.  Rogo attempts to land a right hook, but Polston blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Rogo quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Rogo lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Rogo contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  Polston connects with a cross.  
Rogo lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Rogo forces Polston to back into the ropes.  Rogo lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He then lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Polston almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Polston steps inside.  Rogo lands a right hook to the body followed by two left hook's to the head.  
Rogo drives a right hook into his opponents ribcage.  
Rogo quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Rogo tries to land a right hook, but Polston sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Polston's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.

Round 2: 

Rogo advances into close range and hits home with a solid left uppercut.  
Rogo sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Polston throws a left uppercut, but Rogo ties up his opponent.  Rogo pushes his forearm into Polston's face.  The ref breaks Rogo's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Rogo lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the head.  
Rogo connects with a VICIOUS left hook.  POLSTON IS HURT!  
Rogo senses Polston is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Rogo lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a cross, left hook and a cross to his opponents head, AND SENDS POLSTON SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  
Rogo hits the target with a spiteful jab.  It looks like Polston has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Rogo drives a left uppercut into Polston's ribs.  
Rogo is on target with a HUGE left hook.  POLSTON WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Polston almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Rogo lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Rogo lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  
Rogo pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Rogo lands a double left hook to his opponents head, KNOCKING POLSTON DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 9.  Rogo clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Polston pushes his forearm into Rogo's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Rogo pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Polston feints a left hook, but Rogo does not fall for it and is on target with a stinging right uppercut.  
Polston tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Rogo is looking to close the distance.  Rogo pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Rogo lands a cross followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Rogo is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head, AND DROPS POLSTON TO THE CANVAS!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Rogo!
