Chris Barnes vs Robert Quire

Boxing Daily Report from the Peanut Promotions promoted show at Mulroy Civic Center Carrier Theater, Syracuse,  taking place on 30/12/2034:

Clearly Peanut Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Chris Barnes (0 - 0) who hails from Mesa, USA and Robert Quire(0 - 1) from Los Angeles, USA.  Both Barnes and Quire weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ian Shea, and the three ringside judges are John McCrae, Rob Abbey and Isaac Isbister.  

Round 1: 

Barnes lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Quire switches the action to the outside.  Barnes feints a right hook, and then strikes his opponents body with a cross.  
Barnes is looking to close the distance and walks Quire down, trapping him in the corner.  Barnes is on target with a right uppercut.  
Barnes gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Barnes sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Quire strikes his opponents body with a jab.  
Quire sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Barnes lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Barnes walks Quire down, trapping him in the corner.  Barnes lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Barnes steps inside and is on target with a solid right hook.  
Barnes lands three consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Quire tries to keep the action at long range.  Barnes lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Barnes is on target with a left hook.  
Barnes sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  As Quire tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Barnes has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight damage to the nose.  
Barnes advances into close range.  Barnes pivots to the side of his opponent.  Barnes throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Barnes forces Quire to back into the ropes.  Barnes lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Barnes steps inside.  Barnes pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a left uppercut.  
Barnes sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Quire's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Quire's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Quire's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Barnes manages to force Quire into a corner.  Barnes connects with a left hook.  
Barnes pivots to the right of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
Barnes walks Quire into a corner.  Quire lands a right hook.  
Barnes closes the distance and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.
