Harry Finn vs Paul Kerwood

Boxing Daily Report from the RJM Boxing promoted show at Ice Arena, Cardiff,  taking place on 12/02/2035:

Clearly RJM Boxing have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the British-Wales Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Premier Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Harry Finn (5(4) - 1) who hails from Swansea, UK and Paul Kerwood(2 - 0) from Cardiff, UK.  Both Finn and Kerwood weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Terry Lyons, and the three ringside judges are Dale Carrick, Griffith Batton and Glyn Bowen.  

Round 1: 

Finn lands with a stiff jab.  
Finn closes the distance.  Kerwood lands a left uppercut.  Finn ties up his opponent.  Kerwood is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Finn lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Finn lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Finn lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  Finn clinches his opponent.  Kerwood throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. Finn pushes his forearm into Kerwood's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Finn lands a right uppercut.  
Finn lands a sharp right hook.  
Finn lands a right hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Kerwood walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Kerwood sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Kerwood throws a left uppercut, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Finn throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Finn lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Finn advances into close range.  Kerwood quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Finn hits home with a solid left hook.  Finn tries to land a left hook, but Kerwood slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Finn pivots from in front of his opponent.  Kerwood strikes his opponents body with a jab.  
Finn is on target with a solid right hook.  
Finn gets on the inside.  Kerwood throws a left hook, but Finn holds on to his opponent.  Kerwood pushes his forearm into Finn's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Kerwood to stop fouling.  
Finn lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Finn advances into close range.  Kerwood hits home with a left hook.  
Finn advances into close range and is on target with a firm right uppercut.  
Finn lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Kerwood lands a left hook.  
Kerwood sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a jab.  
Finn lands a right hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Finn's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Kerwood's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Kerwood's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.

Finn drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Kerwood attempts to land a right hook, but Finn blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Finn lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Finn pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a sharp cross.  
Kerwood sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Finn lands a solid cross.  
Kerwood sidesteps to the left of his opponent and throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action and gives Finn time to recover.  
Finn is looking to close the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping Kerwood on the ropes.  Finn lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Kerwood hits home with a cross.  
Kerwood connects with a left uppercut.  
Kerwood lands a jab.  
Finn gets on the inside.  Finn wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Kerwood dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Finn finds the target with a jab.  
Finn gets on the inside and lands a right hook.  
Finn is looking to close the distance and is on target with a firm left hook.  
Finn is on target with a sharp right hook.  
Finn lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  
Finn lands a cross to the body followed by a jab to the head.

Finn cuts off the ring, trapping Kerwood in a neutral corner.  Kerwood tries to land a right uppercut, but Finn slips the shot and counters with a spiteful cross.  KERWOOD WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Finn gets on the inside.  Finn senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Finn lands a cross, right uppercut and a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head.  
Finn lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
The right shot from Finn could be enough to force the stoppage!  Finn lands a right uppercut, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES KERWOOD!  He makes it to one knee, but is unable to rise any further as the ref counts 10!  The winner by KO is Finn!
