Noel Bason vs Ethan Bratten

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Brisbane Entertainment Centre, Brisbane,  taking place on 27/01/2035:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Australia Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Noel Bason (13(5) - 0) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and Ethan Bratten(13 - 13(5)) from Adelaide, Australia.  Both Bason and Bratten weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Callum MacQueen, and the three ringside judges are John Taggart, Leon Kellar and Dave Antoni.  

Round 1: 

Bason lands a jab to the head followed by two left hook's to the body.  
Bason advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Bason digs in a stinging left hook to his opponents liver.  
Bason closes the distance.  Bratten hits home with a solid left hook.  
Bratten hits home with a left uppercut.  
Bason lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Bason digs in a solid left hook to his opponents body.  
Bason digs in a stinging left hook to Bratten's liver.  Bason throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Bason drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Bratten is on target with a jab.  
Bason advances into close range and drives a firm left hook into Bratten's body.  Bason attempts to land a left hook, but Bratten sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Bratten hits home with a stinging right hook.  
Bason lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Bason steps inside and digs in a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Bratten throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Bason's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Bratten lands with a solid jab.  
Bason digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Bason is on target with a solid left hook to Bratten's body.  
Bason sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a sharp right hook to Bratten's ribs.  
Bason sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Bratten sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Bratten throws a right hook, but Bason ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Bason pushes his forearm into Bratten's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Bason.  
Bason manouvers Bratten onto the ropes.  Bason lands a solid left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Bratten's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Bratten's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Bratten closes the distance.  Bason lands a left uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body, AND KNOCKS BRATTEN DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  Bason clinches his opponent.  Bratten leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Bason thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Bratten away.  Bason whips in a mean left uppercut to Bratten's ribs.  BRATTEN HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  It looks like Bratten has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Bason digs in a solid right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Bason is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Bratten tries to land a cross, but Bason sidesteps and counters with a stinging cross.
