Cruz Diaz vs Diego Tijerina

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Baja California promoted show at Tijuana Patron, Tijuana,  taking place on 15/01/2035:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TVC Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Cruz Diaz (17(4) - 4) who hails from Tijuana, Mexico and Diego Tijerina(24 - 12(1) - 4) from Chimalhuacan, Mexico.  Both Diaz and Tijerina weighed in at 159 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Joaquin Samano, and the three ringside judges are Xabat Badillo, Sagaz Moya and Vicente Beato.
