Ahmed Tawil vs Majid Sawaya

Boxing Daily Report from the Kimmula Promotions promoted show at Karaj Rahim, Karaj,  taking place on 15/01/2035:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Iran-Alborz Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on IRIB, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ahmed Tawil (17(6) - 1) who hails from Karaj, Iran and Majid Sawaya(14 - 9(2)) from Karaj, Iran.  Both Tawil and Sawaya weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Chung Jang, and the three ringside judges are Sajid Amber, Gazi Omar and Umair Moradi.

Sawaya is starting to lose his head here!   He steps in close and swings a low uppercut into Tawil's groin!  The ref separates the two fighters and tells Sawaya to keep his punches up.  He gives Tawil a few minutes to recover.

As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Tawil dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Tawil.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.

Tawil lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES SAWAYA!  He fails to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Tawil!
