Hajime Seno vs Ryo Yamamura

Boxing Daily Report from the Sumito Urayama's KO Kings promoted show at Takeo Miyazaki Gym, Tokyo,  taking place on 07/01/2035:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Hajime Seno (1 - 0) who hails from Kitakyushu, Japan and Ryo Yamamura(10 - 9 - 2) from Osaka, Japan.  Seno weighed in at 140 pounds, while Yamamura weighed in at 139 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Aki Shimomura, and the three ringside judges are Kazuki Mochizuki, Hisao Hatanaka and Hikaru Shibuya.  

Round 1: 

Yamamura is looking to keep his distance.  Seno tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Seno closes the distance and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Seno ties up his opponent.  Seno is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Seno pushes his forearm into Yamamura's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Seno throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Seno clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Seno pushes his forearm into Yamamura's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Seno lands a right hook.  Seno attempts to land a jab, but Yamamura sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Seno lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Seno lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Seno clinches his opponent.  Yamamura is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Seno steps inside and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Seno gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Seno walks Yamamura into a neutral corner.  Seno lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  He then lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Seno pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  
Yamamura switches the action to the outside.  Seno lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Seno closes the distance and is on target with a stinging left hook to Yamamura's body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Yamamura's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Yamamura's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Yamamura's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Yamamura's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Seno closes the distance and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  Seno ties up his opponent.  Seno leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Seno is on target with a stinging cross.

Yamamura is on target with a cross to his opponents body.

Yamamura tries to land a cross, but Seno slips the shot and counters with a spiteful left uppercut.  IT LOOKS LIKE YAMAMURA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Yamamura recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Seno closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND YAMAMURA IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.

Seno advances into close range.  Seno lands a left hook, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Seno wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Yamamura dabs at his face checking for damage.

Seno gets on the inside.  Yamamura voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Seno is whaling away with hooks, but Yamamura keeps his defence tight.  Seno hits home with a right uppercut.  
Seno is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the body followed by two left uppercut's to the head.  
Seno lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head, AND DROPS YAMAMURA!  He isnt going to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Seno!
