William Safley vs Brendan Prichett

Boxing Daily Report from the VictoryBoxing promoted show at Ottawa Goudie, Ottawa,  taking place on 18/01/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada-Ontario Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are William Safley (9 - 6 - 6) who hails from Toronto, Canada and Brendan Prichett(24(3) - 11(8) - 1) from Hamilton, Canada.  Both Safley and Prichett weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul Myron, and the three ringside judges are Jamie Barclay, Matt Woodburn and Bruce Hutchison.  

Round 1: 

Safley tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab.  
Prichett drives a cross into Safley's body.  
Prichett closes the distance and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.

It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Prichett.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
