Max Byrne vs Martyn Leamon

Boxing Daily Report from the Terry Promotions promoted show at Andy Harding Gym, Cardiff,  taking place on 18/01/2035:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Wales Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Max Byrne (6 - 5(2) - 2) who hails from Cardiff, UK and Martyn Leamon(4 - 1) from Cardiff, UK.  Byrne weighed in at 236 pounds, while Leamon weighed in at 237 pounds And 2 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Clinton Birney, and the three ringside judges are Mark MacNevin, Joshua Gillespie and Terry Lyons.  

Round 1: 

Leamon gets on the inside and connects with a left hook.  
Leamon connects with a left uppercut.

Leamon tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Leamon advances into close range.  Byrne throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Leamon hits home with a firm right hook.  
Byrne switches the action to the outside and finds the target with a jab.  
Leamon advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Leamon forces Byrne to retreat into a corner.  Leamon lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Leamon closes the distance and digs in a firm right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Leamon gets on the inside and forces Byrne to back into a neutral corner.  Leamon digs in a stinging right uppercut to his opponents body.
