Varil Douva vs Chevy Seyrig

Boxing Daily Report from the Simanansa Promotions promoted show at Justin Drucker Gym, Bamenda,  taking place on 21/01/2035:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cameroon-Nord-Oueste Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Varil Douva (13 - 18 - 4) who hails from Bamenda, Cameroon and Chevy Seyrig(11 - 17 - 3) from Bamenda, Cameroon.  Douva weighed in at 147 pounds, while Seyrig weighed in at 147 pounds And 9 ounces.    As Seyrig came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Ross Giono, and the three ringside judges are Corbin Maillard, Ross Giono and Jasper Artaud.  

Round 1: 

Seyrig steps inside.  Seyrig quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Douva connects with a left hook.  
Seyrig closes the distance and manages to force Douva into the corner.  Douva lands a left uppercut.  
Douva throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.
