Jake Cure vs Leighton Newman

Boxing Daily Report from the Namugerwa Promotions promoted show at Calgary Usher, Calgary,  taking place on 19/01/2035:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Canada-Alberta Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jake Cure (20 - 8(1)) who hails from Calgary, Canada and Leighton Newman(15 - 11 - 1) from Calgary, Canada.  Cure weighed in at 167 pounds and 5 ounces, while Newman weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Charlie Ainsley, and the three ringside judges are Paul Belan, Campbell Marques and Robert Methvin.

Cure forces Newman to retreat into the red corner.  Cure lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Cure lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Cure lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.
