Rafael Mar vs Hernan Arenas

Boxing Daily Report from the Nawanoma Promotions promoted show at Quito Abascal, Quito,  taking place on 18/01/2035:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ecuador-Pichincha Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rafael Mar (17(1) - 6) who hails from Quito, Ecuador and Hernan Arenas(9 - 13(1) - 6) from Quito, Ecuador.  Both Mar and Arenas weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Santiago Rolon, and the three ringside judges are Cris Lainez, Diego Pareja and Rogelio Remigio.  

Round 1: 

Mar closes the distance and forces Arenas to retreat onto the ropes.  Mar is on target with a left uppercut.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Arenas dabs at his face checking for damage.
