Alastair Nish vs Henry Bagley

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at North Shore Stadium, Auckland,  taking place on 02/02/2035:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the New Zealand Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV One, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Alastair Nish (21(16) - 2(1)) who hails from Wellington, New Zealand and Henry Bagley(14 - 5(1) - 3) from Wellington, New Zealand.  Both Nish and Bagley weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Henry Edmonston, and the three ringside judges are Rob Horsburgh, Declan Haturini and Dave Forbush.  

Round 1: 

Nish lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Nish is looking to close the distance.  Nish pivots from in front of his opponent.  Bagley throws a left uppercut, but Nish holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Nish pushes his forearm into Bagley's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Nish to stop fouling.

Nish sidesteps to the left of his opponent and hits home with a sharp cross.

Nish lands two consecutive overhand rights to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Nish is looking to close the distance and is on target with a right uppercut.  Nish ties up his opponent.  Nish is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Nish is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a solid overhand left.  
Nish hits home with a sharp jab.

Nish steps to the outside and EXPLODES a VICIOUS cross into his opponents face.  BAGLEY WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Bagley almost instantly gets his legs back.

Nish feints a jab, tricking Bagley into throwing a left hook counter.  Nish springs the trap and counters with  a firm right uppercut.

Nish lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Nish lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Nish hits home with a cross.  
Bagley walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Nish is on target with a right uppercut.  
Bagley tries to step out of his opponents range.  Nish lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a cross, jab and a cross to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Bagley now seems to have his senses back.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Bagley's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Bagley's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Bagley's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Nish slams a spiteful right uppercut into Bagley's body.  BAGLEY HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE ISNT GOING TO BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Nish!
