Damodar Ganguly vs Amer Akhter

Boxing Daily Report from the AI India-Gujurat promoted show at Ahmedabad Balyan, Ahmedabad,  taking place on 24/01/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the India-Gujurat Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Damodar Ganguly (16 - 19 - 6) who hails from Ahmedabad, India and Amer Akhter(7 - 19 - 3) from Ahmedabad, India.  Ganguly weighed in at 237 pounds and 6 ounces, while Akhter weighed in at 236 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Waqar Shakoor, and the three ringside judges are Arjuna Rangaswamy, Yasin Sinai and Gurudas Kalla.
