Nicandro Monico vs Manny Riva

Boxing Daily Report from the Los Moreco Promotions promoted show at Centro Deportivo Metropolitano I�aquito, Quito,  taking place on 01/02/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Ecuador Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Nicandro Monico (25(23) - 1 - 1) who hails from Duran, Ecuador and Manny Riva(29(3) - 9(2) - 2) from Quito, Ecuador.  Both Monico and Riva weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joaquin Santillanes, and the three ringside judges are Rogelio Remigio, Leonel Armenta and Rodrigo Guitron.  

Round 1: 

Riva finds the target with a jab.
